Charlotte is an award winning screenwriter for kids’ television, a television presenter on 7two’s art and craft show Get arty, and the author/illustrator of Opposite Land.
Winner of the Australian Writers’ Guild Award for Children’s Television for her work on ‘Guess How Much I Love You’, Charlotte is one of Australia’s most in-demand animation and children’s television writers. Most recently she wrote for the Emmy award winning Netflix series Beat Bugs featuring the music of The Beatles. Some of her recent credits include penning episodes for: Blinky Bill, Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong, Figaro Pho and the Tashi TV series.
Her new graphic novel Opposite Land is now available through Penguin Random House and you can catch her teaching art and craft on Get Arty, screening weekdays on Channel 7 in Australia and on Foxtel’s Discovery Kids Channel in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
Charlotte grew up in Adelaide, Australia but now lives in Sydney where she spends her time writing and drawing in a colourful house that’s full of art, plants and lots of pencils. Her hobbies include: hula hooping, wearing big novelty earrings, and eating all her popcorn before the movie starts.
